Summer 2018 Newsletter

THE ABERDEEN HORTICULTURIST Publication of the Royal Horticultural Society of Aberdeen. SCIO Number 20993. Autumn 2018 A message from your Chairman, Terry Stott.

Our Spring Show in March was a successful weekend and it was good to see so many entries in spite of the variable weather in the early part of the year. It was good to welcome exhibitors coming along from Keith and Edinburgh. We’ve had two well attended garden visits this summer, one to Blairwood House, Blairs in June and the other to Middle Cairncake near Cuminestown in July. Workshops are continuing for both adults and children and further information on the rest of this years’ programme will be found elsewhere. Plans are all in place for the summer show and thanks must go to our generous sponsors for their help in putting it on. Thanks must also go to donors of prizes and all those who volunteer to come along to help as well as the Directors. If it were not for sponsorship, the Society would be unable to put on the show. Our new Website is up and running, please take a look. AberdeenRHSA.com SEEDS
